Performs quality assurance of medical reports to confirm a quality independent exam process.
Provides medical direction (e.

, complicated cases involving co-morbidity factors, clinical complications, catastrophic claims) that require continuous medical case management strategies.
Reviews and analyzes subjective & objective evidence for medical indicators of conditions caused by or arising out of employment.
Identifies claims situations where there is a need for physician exam &/or review.
Serves as the medical resource for the Service Office staff (statewide) regarding medical evidence.
Responds to inquiries regarding medical evidence & information.

Thereafter, an employee will advance one step in the pay range every year until the highest step of the pay range is reached.
