NCCC is looking for a competent and enthusiastic Director of Clinical Services to oversee clinical services and clinic operations.
The Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for supervising the clinical staff on a daily basis, assisting with hiring, training and professional development, and strengthening the program.
This position works with the executive and administrative teams to ensure supervision and training is comprehensive.
This role requires excellent management and mentoring skills.
This individual must be an outstanding communicator able to resolve conflicts and issues while maintaining a deep respect for policies, procedures, and ethics.
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for working with the COO to ensure all funding source, accreditation, county, state, and federal regulations and guidelines are followed.
In addition, this role is responsible for working with the QI department to implement, track and monitor clinical measures and outcomes.
This role will reports to the COO to ensure that the clinical department runs smoothly and efficiently.
This position is involved in clinical oversight for Human Resources and Compliance.
Clinical Director of Operations Responsibilities:
Devising strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth
Responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance abuse issues in residential and outpatient settings
Developing and managing a clinical budget with the finance department
Developing and overseeing client care and clinical programs with the executive team
Direct management and development of Program Directors, Program Coordinators and Program Managers
Manage a diverse array of programs including but not limited to: behavioral health, SUD, QMHS, ACUSERV, residential, and Community Outreach
Assure that high quality clinical care is provided and that clinical functions are integrated
Recruit and hire employees to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel
Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary
Requirements
MUST have an independent license with supervisory designation (LISW-S, LPCC-S, IMFT-S)
Proven experience as a clinical director or other comparable leadership position
Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
Excellent knowledge of standards (NCCC is CARF accredited) and regulations for the clinical field
Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and computer systems (NCCC uses the Carelogic EMR)
Excellent communication and people skills
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
Nurtures employee strengths and helps to develop growth edges
Practices an open-door policy
Able to participate in First Aid, CPR, Verbal and Physical De-escalation Techniques Training
Valid Ohio Driver’s License
Must pass a criminal background check, all Corporate Compliance mandated background checks, and drug screen.
Salary is determined based on the following qualifications: experience, education, and licensure
