Manager / Sr.
Manager – Risk & Claims Management
We are looking for an experienced claims manager who is a skilled risk management professional to join our team! This position will be accountable for providing risk management solutions to decentralized operations and to handle claims related to auto liability, general liability, and recoveries.
A key collaborator with many internal and external stakeholders, the person in this role will focus heavily on third-party liability.
Our operational teams help energize communities across the country.
The selected candidate will be a critical team member to help mitigate risk and maintain relationships that come with that pursuit.
The selected candidate can expect to regularly work with third-party adjusters, internal and external legal counsel, internal claims management teams, government agencies, and clients.
Your demonstrated ability to successfully partake in stakeholder engagement is a must.
In addition, the selected candidate will participate in legal proceedings of various stages (informal negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, etc.
).
What Do You Offer Us?
Directly manage and address AGL claims case load, including as collaborator with third-party adjusters
Coordinate and apprise operations teams of claim status / updates.
Report preparation and presentation drafting / speaking.
Identify trends and speak up to provide risk management solutions.
Work directly with claimants, clients, counsel to manage claims to resolution.
What is Required?
Seven + Years in Claims Management position
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
Deep understanding of risk management information systems (i.
e.
, Origami).
Proven experience supporting decentralized / field teams.
Comfortable working autonomously.
Critical thinker.
Working knowledge of energy infrastructure maintenance, construction, repair, and installation.
Corporate office environment with field travel anticipated, including overnight and multi-night trips.
