The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.

Description Manages the Internal Claims and Vendor Fraud Investigation Team by establishing objectives, directing the day-to-day operations, and managing the performance and development of investigators.
Follows the procedures and policies for the identification, investigation, resolution, and potential prosecution of fraud cases via the civil and criminal litigation processes.
Provides technical guidance to the business in the development and application of fraud indicators.
Develops and maintains relationships with law enforcement authorities on the state and national level.
Establishes Liberty Mutual`s visibility and credibility with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and industry groups.
**This Role Could Have In Office Requirements Depending on Candidate Location** Responsibilities Manages the Internal Claims and Vendor Fraud Investigation Team by establishing objectives, directing the day-to-day operations, and managing the performance of investigators and the investigative quality control program.
Works collaboratively with stakeholders in Talent, GC&E, SIU, Claims, Vendor Management, Procurement, and other teams to assess and address fraud risk across USRM, achieve company goals, keep them informed of relevant information and fraud trends and partners together with them in service of the best answer for the company.
Provides technical guidance to the business in the development and application of fraud indicators.
Mobilizes resources, gather stakeholder buy in, drive initiatives, and troubleshoot problems to identify risk employs root cause problem solving to understand fraud drivers and close gaps/variances within the assigned organization(s).
Follows the procedures and policies for the identification, investigation, and potential prosecution of fraud cases via the civil and criminal litigation processes.
Develops and maintains relationships with law enforcement authorities on the state and national level.
Establishes Liberty Mutual's visibility and credibility with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and industry groups.
Ensure compliance with Investigative guidelines, procedures, and protocols.
Ensure Statutory and Regulatory Anti-Fraud Compliance by assisting with annual fraud reports and keeping fraud plans up to date.
Responsible for presenting training on fraud awareness, recognition, investigation, and fraud prevention to claims, product, underwriting, agency, and finance.
Effectively communicate operational procedures to work staff.
Responsible for the hiring and training of new investigators.
Coordinate and oversee complex fraud investigations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualified Candidates Preferred Experience: 3 years of proven people leader experience Experience in employee investigations and interviews Experience in or working with vendor management, procurement, and/or with vendor contracts Qualifications Bachelor`s degree in related field, or equivalent, 7 or more years of experience in a combination of detailed investigations or quality assurance involving policy, finance, agent, or claims, investigation management, and/or handling of white-collar crime investigations Extensive knowledge of business practices (eg , SIU/Claims, Distribution, Service, Product etc ), state regulatory environments, and finance/actuarial/accounting practices as they apply to business operations Demonstrated ability to manage people effectively to get outstanding business outcomes as well as advanced skills in the areas of employee selection, development, and performance management Excellent communication and management skills are required as well as the ability to deal effectively with employees at varying organizational levels and customers outside of the organization Proven records to assess strategic opportunities for field operations and drive changes in the market and sustain the improvements Strong thought leadership to partner with Product, Analytics, Strategy, Claims and Finance to influence the strategic directions and priorities CFE and/or CPCU designation preferred About Us At Liberty Mutual, our purpose is to help people embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow.
