Senior Technology Procurement and Contract Analyst

ComResource is looking for a Senior Technology Procurement and Contract Analyst.
This candidate will be responsible for providing overall technology asset acquisitions for software, hardware, and technology services in accordance with the established policies of the organization.
They will work with key stakeholders to ensure license strategy meets business requirements and guide technology lifecycle of assets including compliance with agreed terms.
Responsibilities: * Review and negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with all established policies and standards * Provide negotiation direction for software contracts by working with supply vendors * Maintain maintenance contracts for all software and hardware contracts * Provides financial forecast for technology asset contracts * Assist with vendor compliance audits * Maintain records in asset management system of agreements, open/in-process requests, license counts, and other pertinent lifecycle vendor data * Provide cost-benefit analysis of proposal and business case * Identify, assess, and select vendors in support of vendor relations * Build and maintain relationships with vendors, coordinate communication, and execute corrective actions if necessary * Conduct quarterly business reviews of targeted vendors with internal customers and facilitate related communication with vendors * Support development of enterprise-level procurement services and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to execution of projects once approved * Proactively establish relationships with internal customers, including Purchasing, Finance, and Legal * Participate in projects to redefine and improve contracts operations * Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers by providing timely and accurate information in response to inquiries and training internal staff Essentials: * College degree (relevant field) or equivalent experience; 5+ years of related experience; an advanced degree may be substituted for work experience * Strong proficiency with critical thinking skills * Mid-level understanding of software license terminology * Experience with Asset Management solutions highly desired * Demonstrated expertise with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio * Experience with one or more of the following is highly desired but not required: PeopleSoft, Basware, Contract, and Vendor Management software is highly desired
