Job Summary
Drive a culture of food safety and quality assurance.
Motivate, lead, and direct the food safety and quality assurance department.
Provides direct leadership in all aspects of food and work-place safety in day-to-day Production Kitchen operations while ensuring safety is always a priority that is fully in place and being supported by the operations team.
KEY Essential Duties
* Preparation and assistance in securing excellent Everclean & local Health Department Inspections
a.
Ensuring all locations are properly stocked with required items (hand sinks, 3 compartment sink, cleaning, thermometers, HACCP paperwork, etc.
)b.
Verify locations are clean and orderly, reporting violations to managers to correct prior to matchc.
Availability on event/match days to walk locations before, during and after event/match day to ensure compliance.
* Document Assistance (QR Codes, HACCP, Time in Lieu)
* Training Staff to Levy Sanitation guidelines
* Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers
* Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed
* Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements
* Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work
* Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
* Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste
* Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
Major Areas of Responsibility
Service
* Adheres to location appearance guidelines
* Acts with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
* Ensures that team members are following proper procedures as it relates to dishwashing, ware washing, daily cleaning tasks, as well as monthly and quarterly cleaning schedules
Controls
* Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
* Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
* Maintains and completes all cleaning checklists and logs
* Uses cleaning chemicals according to prescribed methods
* Ensure adherence to local Health Department rules and regulations
* Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
* Maintains Cleanliness of kitchens, storage areas, and concession stands
Team
* Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
* Always on time and ready to perform all required duties
* Helps fellow team members whenever necessary
* Reports to and assists acting Chef with daily assignments and kitchen duties
Job Requirements
* Lifts and transports up to 60 lbs.
* Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain work area
* Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
* Walks and stands during entire shift
* Basic computer skills
* Strong organization skills
* Good communicator

Pay: From $18.
00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
